paac appointment

I’m proud to announce that I have been appointed to the 4Culture Public Art Advisory Committee (PAAC). I’ll be part of an 8-member volunteer committee of art and design professionals including artists, arts advocates, architects, engineers, landscape architects and urban planners. The PAAC guides policy development and advises on issues affecting King County public art and artists, and reviews all King Country public art projects managed by 4Culture.

In my letter of interest, I said: “I would appreciate learning from the multi-disciplined fellow advisors on the PAAC, and getting more exposure to the public art projects and artists in our area. I’m a believer in art that lives on the streets, in liminal spaces, in grand spaces, in unexpected places. I would like to be a part of making that happen in King County.”

And now I get to do that! So excited.
